July 2, 3 & 4th Hamilton Fouth of July Celebration "It is Patriotic to be Green" HCS All-Class Reunion Plans are underway for an HCS all class reunion to be held July 2-5, 2009. The theme will be "The Hamilton Experience." The reunion, open to anyone who attended Hamilton Central School, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first graduating class from the West Kendrick building. Hamilton Public Library needs teams for Harry Potter Family Feud by Monday, July 6th. The actual event is Monday, July 13th at 7 pm. We need 5 person teams which can be composed of adults, teens, and families with children. Please, no teams with just children under 13. Winning team receives free passes to Hamilton Movie Theater's "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". Stop by the library to register or call, (315)824-3060. July 6th Opening reception for artist W. Edward Edmonston, Hamilton Public Library, 4 pm. All are invited. July 7th Music Story Time with Guest Storyteller Joan Ford and Library Director Barb Coger, Hamilton Public Library, 10:30 am. Please use side door. July 8th The Spoon Man, a musical entertainer, Hamilton Public Library, Community Room, 2:30 pm, a free family event July 10th Professional ventriloquist and children’s author Sylvia Fletcher will perform for children and families, and sign copies of her new picture book The Adventures of Sylvie and the Magic Trunk, on Friday, July 10 at 3:30 p.m. at the Palace Theater, 19 Utica Street. This event, sponsored by the Colgate Bookstore, is free and open to children of all ages and their families. July 15th Author and story-teller Melanie Zimmer will discuss, and sign copies of, her book Central New York & the Finger Lakes: Myths, Legends & Lore on Wednesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. on the first floor of the Colgate Bookstore, 3 Utica Street.
