Aquatic exercise can increase circulation, heart rate and
respiratory rate while decreasing blood pressure and sensitivity of
nerve endings and creating a redistribution of blood flow. CWEG’s
program is also excellent for reduction of pain and muscle spasms,
increase in range of motion, achieving relief from various physical
symptoms, and preoperative preparation and post operative recovery.
Our programs are highly recommended by several physicians in the
area.
CWEG’s
Fin, Mask and Snorkel group is designed to teach swimming and scuba
skills to the physically challenged. We also have an up-to-date
chair lift to aid clients in and out of the pool if needed.
Our program director and volunteer staff have all been
trained and certified in one or more of the following: National
Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program Leadership, CPR, Aquatic
Exercise Association, and Motherwell, Inc. |
