Protection of our country’s air, land, and water is vital, and our theme, “It’s Patriotic to be Green”, reflects a way of showing love of country that we usually do not consider.

Please make every effort to make your parade entry be “green” by using recyclable or biodegradable materials for construction; having your participants car pool to and from the parade site; or by having your entry be propelled by a fuel efficient vehicle or by animal power. Or walk.

Awards will be named for the “Greenest Theme” and “Greenest Construction” entries as well as a “Judges Choice.”

Please complete and return the parade application form as soon as possible. After we receive your application, we will send confirmation information and any other information you may need. New this year is the earlier starting time of 10:30 am in order to arrive in the center of town at 11:00 am. 

New this year: $50.00 application fee for commercial business entry

This can be waived if the entry is clearly oriented towards the theme of the parade
