6pm - Midnight Block Party in front of the Colgate Inn

5pm-7pm 'Optimists' will have children's activities in the north end of the park - adjacent to the Village Office

8pm-10pm Chris White [ Hamilton’s own thinking man’s guitar playing lumberjack] at the Barge Canal Coffeehouse on Lebanon Street

SATURDAY, JULY 4, 2009

6am Vendor and Crafters registration begins

7am-3pm Vendors and Crafters on the Village Green

8am-10am Parade Registration at the Mid-York Airpark, Rte. 12B

9am-9:30am Veteran’s Memorial Service American Legion Lloyd V. Evans Post 375 at the Veteran’s Memorial on Broad Street

9:30am-10:45am Pre-Parade Entertainment “Rags to Riches” at the Pavilion on the Village Green

9:30am Chicken BBQ tickets on sale. Meals will be served 11am-1:30pm at the Park United Methodist Church

10:30am Parade Step-Off

10:45am Pre-Parade Show at the Judge’s Stand with K.C. Stewart. Miriam Stewart will be singing our National Anthem.

10am-2pm Baby changing and nursing station open at the First Baptist Church

11am Parade Begins

10am-2pm Bounce house for children up to age 14 on the First Baptist Church lawn

10am-11am, 12pm-2pm. Brad Zupp [a children’s entertainer] will be entertaining on the First Baptist Church lawn

12pm-2pm Face Painting on the First Baptist Church lawn

1pm Annual July 4th organ concert at the First Baptist Church, featuring Chris Warren and the FBC pipe organ

1pm-3pm

Entertainment “Bernie Clark and the Rhythm Sharks” at the Pavilion on the Village Green

3pm Town Ball Game at the Colgate Rugby Field, located at the intersection of Kendrick Ave. and Hamilton St. [new players welcome]

Nightfall Fireworks
